This site showcases some of my hand drawn illustrations and published short fiction.
All the pictures presented here have been created with pen on paper. For the past few years, I’ve almost exclusively been preoccupied with the noir genre. I know that life exists in shades of grey but I’ve opted to depict my pictures in the sharp contrast of black and white. A while ago, I stumbled upon the stunning noir works of Frank Miller and Shawn Martinbrough and have been enamoured by this style ever since.
Composing fiction started as a technique to alleviate the boredom of my work commute. I typically write tales from the corporate world. My fiction and articles have been published by 15 magazines and journals. My first book – Peasants at a Party and Other Stories- a collection of short corporate fiction is now available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart and all leading ecommerce websites.
I also have a day job. I work in corporate venturing for a large engineering conglomerate and enjoy exploring and participating in fascinating possibilities that emerge at the intersection of technology, innovation and business. I am a chemical engineer from University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from INSEAD.
